"Many are called, but, few are chosen!"
If you belong to a band, an artist, event aficionado, an advocate for a cause, or simply an individual with nothing to do on Kadayawan...we invite you to take part of this NON STOP partying with a cause...
EL BARANGAY PRIDE is an inspired replica of Cebu’s “Jamaican Nights” usually held during the summer of every year. The notable difference is, it is Hype Magazine’s Kadayawan 2007 benefit event for BANTAY BATA DAVAO that is basically a celebratory stage participated by local reggae and ska bands competing with each other showcasing the island beats of the ragga genre. The EVENTS team goal is to bang the reggae scene in the locale with a positive cause.
There will also be a sarong-making competition entitled KADAYAWAN PINTADOS that will be judged then auctioned during the said event wherein the proceeds will go directly to BANTAY BATA DAVAO once sold. It’s about time that we reach out to the abused children during the Kadayawan season through our own reachable resources. ONE PURPOSE. ONE STAGE. ONE CELEBRATION. Through your support, we are definitely going to make bigger waves in a cause to FIGHT Child Abuse and celebrate the Kadayawan festival with an edge. Definitely, NO dramas and NO bad vibes. Purely, NON STOP partying!
Let's do this for a change!
